Scientific Principles Every Atheist Should Know

One of my favorite atheist communities on the Internet, reddit.com‘s /r/atheism, contained a very interesting and useful educational resource to atheists, namely, a listing of some very important scientific experiments and theories which undermine common religious arguments. (Please do check out /r/atheism, the creators of this content here and an overall excellent source for atheism news and an atheist community online).

Some of the theories/experiments to know:

The Miller-Urey Experiment - Using the best known composition of Earth’s early atomsphere, showed how DNA can arise from lifeless materials

The Omo Remains - Some of the first strong evidence that not only have humans been evolving, but that the Earth is most certainly more than 5,000 years old

The God Helmet - A scientific experiment which, using fluctuating magnetic fields, has successfully induced a sense of God, suggesting that the feeling of a God or Holy Spirit may simply be a brain function

There are plenty more at the link. Please be sure to thank the original author!
