I have always hated David Brooks. It disappoints me that so many people take that guy seriously. I’m glad that you all are talking about creeps like Brooks. I’m casually studying the intersection of Free Market theology and Christian Calvinistic beliefs. It seems to me that most Libertarian and Conservative think tanks (CATO, Heritage, Heartland) out there share a version of Brooks belief system.

Also, as a fan of Carl Sagan I have to recommend the Symphony of Science: http://symphonyofscience.com/.
